Whenever I am yearning for some Indian food near Paradise Valley or North Scottsdale I stop by the Tikka Shack at the Desert Ridge Shopping Center. On my last visit, I enjoyed their samosas with mint sauce and tamarind chutney. My wife had chicken tikka masala with a side of garlic naan which we shared. The restaurant itself is a small shop in the middle of the shopping center that is best suited for a quick relief meal spot while shopping -so not necessarily date night ambience. Nonetheless it is clean and has several tables, good for smallish groups or a family of 4. One final tip don't sleep on the mango lassi. It's a delicious fruit, flavored yogurt drink. It's perfect for calming down your excited taste glands if you're not used to the slight kick of indian spices. If you're used to eating Indian food you already know what I'm talking about...their mango lassi is delicious. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other take out spots in the same shopping center. We like this place so I don't mind offer my thumbs up when people ask, "is that place any good?"

Service was friendly & ambiance was nice. The food was magnificent. Wife not a fan of most Indian food . Me , I'm a fan. Both of us got the butter chicken with the garlic naan. Both , were absolutely delicious. Will be back .

The food always a hit and never a miss for me here! It's always so clean in here and the seating is comfortable to dine-in. You go and order your food at the counter, take your number to your table (whether you're dining in or taking out), then they'll bring your food out to you when it's ready. The food comes out hot, fast, and really good consistently! I ordered the lamb Goan Vindaloo extra extra spicy! I could have had it spicier but the heat level was perfect considering it was 109 outside. The dish comes with rice, your entree, and garnished perfectly to your table and all for $14...$11 for the curry and $3 to have it with lamb. My kids got the Tikka pizza and it's basically naan with tomato sauce and yummy cheese. It's the perfect amount of pizza for a 5 and 8 year old. We also got a side of garlic naan bread to sop up the curry, and it was all just delicious. If you want fast and good Indian food, this is the place to go! Also make sure to use your phone number to collect points, because they add up and can go towards free food our total bill discounts for your next visits...which you will have!

Our team wanted to get some quick lunch and we used Grubhub to place the order. There are lot of options to pick from and I went with the most recommended kabob bowl. I also ordered their mango lassi. You can pick the protein of your choice and I went with chicken, it comes with side of rice and choice of salad. The kabob is grilled and is juicy with nice flavors. Loved the rice, it has a nice aroma and tastes good. Overall a good place to get some quick delicious lunch. The order was delivered or time and there were no errors.

Everyone who works here are friendly, patient and helpful. Go to counter to order. Upon entering the spices waft throughout the restaurant. In & outdoor seating. Been here so many times. Favs are garlic nan, rasali, mango lassi and masala fries. Their first Tues special is da bomb.
